The Swanage Railway

Award-winning standard gauge preserved steam railway is located in Dorset with easy access from neighbouring Hampshire and the South of England. You can experience a unique journey through six miles of beautiful scenery passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.

Fish and Ships

Andrew`s work is now for sale at Holkham Hall gift shop, Wells Beach Cafe and Bringing the Outside In which is on the coast road almost opposite the entrance to Holkham beach.Andrew Ruffhead works from his studio/gallery in Burnham Market producing pen and ink drawings, lino prints, cyanotype photography, prints, cards, and artworks made from driftwood  and reclaimed boats, all inspired by the stunning North Norfolk beaches and big blue skies. There is also work for sale at The Globe Inn , Wells-next-The-Sea, and The White Horse at Brancaster.

Great Treverran, Tywardreath, Fowey, Cornwall

I am reluctant to recommend this as I would rather it be our well kept secret! Great Treverran is the stuff of film sets.

A beautiful Queen Anne house that sleeps about 10 set in five acres of ground down the end of a very rural country lane a few miles from Fowey. The house has been done up by an artist and has a stylish yet homely feel.

The setting is perfect as you can enjoy the hussle and bussle of Fowey and retreat back to the peace and quiet of Great Treverran.
